Yes. A personal Texnav account is free: following businesses, writing reviews, friends and messages cost nothing.

1. Press Make a free account at the top of the page (or Follow on any business).
2. Type your First name and Email and press Send me a code.
3. We email you a 6-digit code. Type it in.
4. Pick your Texnav address, then say whether you have a business: Just me or I have a business.

There's no password to remember. You can also use Continue with Google when it shows.

Press Sign in at the top of the page and type your email. We email you a 6-digit code; type it in and you're in. There's no password.

You stay signed in on that phone or computer until you sign out.

Check your spam or junk folder first. The code lasts 15 minutes.

Still nothing? Press Send it again, or Change email if there's a typo in it.

1. Open My page from the menu under your picture.
2. Press Edit my page.
3. Change your photo, name, town or About me, then press Save.

Photos can be JPG or PNG, up to 5 MB.

Click your picture at the top of the page, then Log out.

Send us a message from Contact us (under Support at the bottom of any page) from the email on your account, and we'll close it for you.

Press + Follow on the business's page. If you're not signed in yet, it makes your free account first.

What they post shows on your Home page, under Following.

Press the follow button on their page again. Use the Alerts from switch to turn them on or off, or press Unfollow to stop following.

1. Open the business's page and press Write a review.
2. Pick your stars under Your rating.
3. Say how it went, a sentence or two, and press Post review.

You can write one review for each business. It shows right away, and the business can reply to it.

Yes. Press Write a review on the same business again: change it and press Update review, or press Delete my review.

Press Ask for a quote on a business's page, or use Looking for a pro to ask several at once. Say what you need, the kind of pro and your ZIP code. We never ask for your street address.

Up to 5 businesses can answer. When you've picked one, press Found someone to close it.

Open their page and press + Add friend. When they accept, it says Friends. Your friend requests are on the Friends page.

Tap What's on your mind? at the top of your Home page or your own page. Write a few words, add up to 10 photos, and press Post.

Under your name, choose who sees it: Friends (your friends on Texnav) or Everyone (anyone who opens your page). You can change it later from the ⋯ menu on the post.

To recommend a business, tap Tag a business and pick it. Its card shows under your post, and the business is told.

Press ⋯ on your post. You can edit it, change who sees it, pin it to the top of your page, or delete it.

Press ⋯ on one of their posts and choose Hide their posts. You stay friends. To see them again, open their page and press Show them in my feed again.

Tap Like to like a post. To pick another reaction, hold Like on a phone (or rest your mouse on it on a computer) and choose Like, Love, Haha, Wow, Sad or Congrats. Tap it again to take it back.

Tap the number next to it to see who reacted.

Up to 10. The post shows five, and the fifth says how many more there are. Tap any photo to see them all.

It means the business is Verified by Texnav. A person at Texnav checked their phone number, matched their Google listing, and checked their license if their trade needs one. Point to the check on their page (tap it on a phone) to see since when.

Businesses on a paid plan can ask for it from their back office: Community page → Verified. It's checked again every year.

People can have the check too. It means Texnav knows they're real. For now Texnav adds it for people it knows; there's no form to ask for it yet.

Press Message on someone's page. If you aren't friends yet, your first message goes to their Requests, and you can send one more after they accept.

In a chat, the ⋯ menu lets you Block or Report someone.

Open Invite friends in the menu. Copy your link or share it by text, email, Facebook or WhatsApp. Anyone who makes an account through your link becomes your friend right away.

Click the bell at the top of the page, then Settings. Turn each email on or off: friend requests, accepted requests, replies to your reviews and new messages.

Press Put your business on Texnav at the bottom of any page (or choose I have a business when you make your account).

Type your Business name and what kind of business it is, then press Make my business page. It's free, and people can find it, follow it and write reviews right away.

Once your business is on Texnav, Your business page at the bottom of the page opens it. Everything else, like booking, your website and your apps, is in your business's back office.
